Do you build servers and projects for clients?
Yes. Since 2023 we've designed, built and run our own game servers, and we take on commissioned work - a full server, a one-off event, or a specific feature you need built. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll go from there.
How much does a custom project cost?
There's no fixed price list - everything is quoted. Cost depends on the scope: what the project involves, how much of it is custom, and whether you need us once it's live. Describe what you want and we'll put a quote together.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the size of the project and what you are asking for. A single feature and a full server build are very different jobs, so we give you a realistic timeline along with the quote rather than a generic estimate.
Do you host the server as well?
We can, but it stays optional. Some clients want us to handle hosting end to end, others already run their own infrastructure. Hosting costs are quoted separately from the build so you can choose either way.
Do you maintain the project after it launches?
Yes, when it makes sense for the project. Ongoing maintenance and support are part of the contract, and how long they run depends on what we built - a permanent server and a limited-run event have very different needs.
Which games do you work with?
FiveM, Minecraft (Java and Bedrock), Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator and Garry's Mod. If you are working with something else, ask anyway - a lot of the underlying server work carries over between games.
What is Thunder Studio?
An independent game studio founded in 2023 and based in France. We are a small team of developers, server architects and community managers building game servers and multiplayer projects - our own, and commissioned ones.
Do you sell ready-made scripts?
Yes. Thunder Scripts is our store, where we sell the resources we build for our own servers to other server owners - so you can buy something off the shelf instead of commissioning it.
